This entrance exam is for admissions into various Certificate Courses, Degree Courses in Technology streams and the Degree Course in Forestry.

NERIST Entrance Exam Course Detail:
The NEE-2025 Overview of Entrance Exams and Courses Below is a detailed breakdown of the entrance exams, courses, available seats, and the required qualifications:
1. NEE-I (Certificate Program)
- Seats: 225 + 25*
- Eligibility: Candidates must have appeared or passed Class-X.
2. NEE-II (PCM)
- Course: Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.)
- Seats: 90 + 10*
- Eligibility: Candidates should have appeared or passed Class-XII with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM). Alternatively, candidates with Class-XII (Vocational), ITI, or NERIST Certificate in relevant branches/trades (AE/CE/ECE/EE/ME) are eligible.
3. NEE-II (PCB)
- Course: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. Hons.) in Forestry
- Seats: 40 + 04*
- Eligibility: Candidates must have appeared or passed Class-XII with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB).
4. NEE-III (Lateral Entry)
- Course: Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.)
- Seats: 80 + 08*
- Eligibility: Candidates must have a 3-year diploma in the relevant branch of Engineering & Technology and should have appeared or passed their final exam.

Candidates have to apply through Online mode only by accessing the website: https://www.neeonline.ac.in or https://www.nerist.ac.in
GENERAL INSTRUCTION TO THE CANDIDATES
- (a) Candidates must follow the instructions strictly as given in https://www.neeonline.ac.in or https://www.nerist.ac.in
- (b) After the successful filling up of the online form, a registration confirmation page will be generated for each candidate bearing a UNIQUE REGISTRATION NUMBER, which will be used by the candidate for downloading/printing of Admit Card, etc.
- (c) The Information Brochure containing detailed information of the examination syllabi, eligibility criteria, reservation policy, age, etc. is available on https://www.neeonline.ac.in or https://www.nerist.ac.in
- (d) The examination fee will be paid online directly by using Debit/ Credit card/ Net banking.
- (e) The examination fee once paid is not refundable/ transferable in any case.
